Is anyone else having connection problems? For three days now, since that
tornado, my mail box isn't working well at all. I'm getting all sorts of
spurious and odd fault warnings, lies and deceptions from the bowels of
Windows. I suspect servers are down all over the country, or am I just
paranoid?

I can download, slowly and erratically, but can't seem to upload any mail.
My friend down the road has the same ISP and she's been told her mail
account there has been hacked, and it is so screwed up she can't send mail,
either. I'm still using a pop box at Earthlink, and I'm used to erratic
performance there, but it's been really good since the new hookup, until
now. I doubt this post will be sent...

Just paranoid.
The commies are not harassing you personally.

Pretty much back to normal - changed isps as Cox was the last utility to come
back into service. Even the US Mail was delivering a couple days before the
phone & internet came back.

The city is making great progress in removing the debris - most of what is left
is now piled along the sides of the streets. An overhead photo will soon show
a broad band of bare slabs, 17 miles long.

Surprisingly, no damage path photos are appearing of the massive second
storm, the one with multiple vortexes and long heavy rains. Maybe because I
don't read the right-wing Oklahoman paper.

Moore is selling T-shirts for tornado relief.

Good to know you aren't buried in a pile of road-side debris. Send me a
note with your new address on it, please.

I did see one picture taken from space of the path of the first one. That
was awesome. And scary.

Pix of the second didn't get spread around as much. You can find one - it's more
banana-shaped - on the KGOU website.

email is now ***@att.net cox was the last utility to come back to
functionality.
Even the snail mail beat them by a couple-three days. This week's Moore paper
says
they're going to put up a temporary post office (the main one got destroyed,
along
with many of the vehicles) just 3 blocks up the street from me. And with the new
park going in a few blocks north, I'm becoming the center of town.
